KS3 Graphics

Graphics opens up pupil’s minds to the world of the visual media. From street art and graffiti to music album artwork and corporate identity, students will learn to employ graphic techniques that catch the eye and inflame people’s imagination.

Throughout the key stage three courses, pupils will complete a series of mini-projects that focus and develop their graphic skills. These projects will combine technical drawing and sketching skills; including 3D drawings, with computer aided design [CAD] programs. The combination of the two equips children with a basic design toolbox that they will need if they are to pursue a career in graphics or design.

Projects such as pop-up graffiti cards also ensure that there is a practical element to the course, allowing the pupils to manufacture their own graphic products to take away.
