History is not just about the past but it is also about how the past is linked to the present and future.

At Kingsford students will develop their use of a range of historical skills. Historians are a bit like detectives - using evidence to find out what happened and why. Students will examine different types of sources, and decide how useful they are as evidence, and come to conclusions based on what they have found out. We look at the causation of historical events and the consequence and impact of the actions of individuals. At Kingsford we aim to provide a national curriculum course that is both stimulating and rewarding to your learning.
