Sociology is the study of society and things which shape the way we think and behave.

We will look at topics such as families, crime and deviance, mass media, youth, education and work. You will be required to demonstrate critical understanding of sociological evidence and the research processes. Sociology will teach you how to analyse and evaluate different research methods along with factors that are important when researching topic areas. Students will be following the OCR specification.
