Welcome to Kingsford Community School

Kingsford Community School was officially opened in September 2000.  In that year the school comprised of just a one year intake of two hundred and fifty pupils and 14 staff.  Each year thereafter, the school expanded to include a new year group of three hundred pupils until the school reached its full complement of 1500 pupils in 2004.

We are extremely proud of our Specialist Language College and Confucius Classroom status and being a leading edge partnership school. We aim to be at the forefront of developments in teaching and learning. Our Specialist status will allow us to continue to expand our language curriculum and our links with the local and international community.

We expect all our students to contribute to the wider life of the school and community and students are valued for their individuality and the enormous creative potential they have. I am proud to lead a team of highly professional and dedicated staff who support the development of all students both academically and socially.

I hope this website provides you with an in-depth view of Kingsford; there is more in our prospectus that can be viewed here and you are always welcome to visit us. The school’s Ofsted report can also be viewed here. In the meantime, you can keep up to date with all the school’s latest news in the news section of this website.
